Have you ever considered financing your equipment purchase? Our finance partners can offer many financing solutions that can fit your business. Financing helps businesses to keep up with new equipment technologies and make sure that their equipment is not becoming obsolete. Flexible terms, deferred payments to match your business cash flow, easy credit application process. fair market value or conditional sales contracts, avoiding depleting credit lines, and potential tax savings are good reasons to entertain financing for your business.
Have you also considered utilizing Section 179 to benefit your operation?
What is Section 179 Tax Benefit?
Section 179 is a tax deduction that businesses can use to deduct the cost of certain assets as an expense during the year in which they were purchased. All assets must be placed in service by December 31 of the tax year. Section 179 allows business owners to be able to accelerate depreciation of the asset’s cost in the first year versus the standard depreciation method. This reduces your taxable income and results in you paying less in taxes. There is also bonus depreciation that can be applied if you are spending over $3,050,000 million on equipment. Bonus depreciation for 2024 is 60% and it decreases over the next two years. Please consult with your tax consultant on how Section 179 may benefit your operations. Here is a great website that can provide further details: https://www.section179.org/section_179_deduction/
We are in the home stretch for 2024! Now is a great time for your crews to start looking at their existing equipment and begin the winter maintenance process. It is critical with the complexities of painting and removing equipment that the proper maintenance schedules and visual inspections are done. The MRL parts and retrofit teams are here to help you with your needs.
